Kitty...they just get better and better. I'm sure this is my all-time favorite shot of a Red Bellied male. And I personally have shot hundreds. The light is golden and luscious, and the bird is not in its classic vertical pose on the side of a tree trunk, but is balanced on this delicate twig...and the bonus is the berry in is bill.

Thank you SO MUCH Liz and Michelle. You do my heat good. When I got to Valley Forge yesterday I had my husband's car and therefore NO TRIPOD in the back seat. I could have kicked myself. As I drove through the woods I came across this guy and luckily he let me get out of the car, open my door to a good angle and balance the camera on the top of the car door. It was a lucky day. #9868061
